The Crown star Tobias Menzies has been appointed as WaterAid's latest celebrity ambassador, also launching its new Access Denied campaign, aiming to raise £2m to 'help get clean water and decent sanitation to poor communities around the world'.

Harry Redknapp, Vicky Pattison, Brian Blessed, Nell McAndrew, Joe Pasquale, Christopher Biggins, Carl Fogarty, and Shappi Khorsandi are among the other stars backing the campaign, and Menzies commented 'Having access to clean water and a decent toilet shouldn’t be a luxury. Yet these basic needs are being denied to millions of people around the world affecting the health, education and livelihoods of whole communities'.
